How Storytelling Influences Perspective Of Ads

Engaging, and relatable. A prime tactic for generating positive outlooks pertaining to certain products is the art of utilizing engaging and relatable stories to target a desired audience. The method of using a story to create awareness or interest in a product or service you are selling can sometimes be the most effective way for marketing for several reasons. Straightaway, the audience is sucked into the thrill and curious to see how the story will unfold. Not many people would deny the opportunity to sit in on a quick, compelling story for an advertisement, as opposed to the traditional informative structured ads which fail to hook the audience.

Generally, hooking a viewer is accomplished more through stories. Stories are suspenseful and memorable in nature. When someone sees or thinks about the product, immediately they recall the story and how they were influenced during the viewing of the ad.

One way of building a good fan base for your product is through the use of emotion, which is easily achieved through telling a story, of course. Here's what I mean… When someone sees an advertisement for a product on TV, in an online advertisement, or through Social Media marketing in a story telling approach which relates to their current circumstances or unique situation, that person is much more susceptible to doing more research on the product, inevitably resulting in a purchase. Since the person was able to relate to the advertisement, a connection was formed between the person and the service because the person realized their situation was considered and understood. Whether it be through positive stories with happy endings to negative stories with sad endings, once the customer develops a mental connection with the product or service being advertised, the job is nearly complete.

Storytelling uses different strategies to gain the attention from the consumer. For instance, there are positive and negative reinforcement approaches to enhancing the message. Through the use of a story, an advertisement has the potential of scaring their target audience into considering their service (negative reinforcement), or inspiring a person to consider their service (positive reinforcement). Both strategies successfully boost awareness from the desired audience, which is the goal of developing the ad in the first place. In addition to those strategies, many advertisements often use humoristic or sexual storylines depending on the product and target audience to increase attention, as well.

Although storytelling may have great impacts on advertisements, there can be negatives to the approach too. Many times an advertisement can make a story so good that the audience loses sight of the goal, which is the product. The point of the story is to sell the product. In other instances, the story may be incomprehensible, non-relatable, or have nothing to do with the product or service through the eye of the consumer. A complete misfire.

Why Every Business Needs A Website!

Why Every Business Needs A Website!

A website is the most important tool you will purchase for your small business. Your online presence is the most affordable manner in which to reach new customers and generate increasing profits.

Your Competitor
In an ever-changing market, savvy small business owners keep tabs on their competitors, work to gain insight on trends, and come up with new strategies for staying ahead of the competition. If your competitors have a website, you should think strongly about having one, too.

24/7/365
While some businesses are open 24 hours a day, most business hours remain limited to a more traditional workday schedule. With a website, customers can view your products and services on their own schedules, even long after your normal operating hours. If you sell products online, you can even accept orders from different parts of the world at any hour.

Email
Has anyone ever asked for your business email address? Are you currently using a personal email address from your Internet service provider or a free email account for business contacts? You can raise the level of prestige and branding for your business with an email address that includes your company name or services. We always include personalized email accounts when we set up your website.

Survey Your Audience
When visitors enter your website, they are expressing interest in your products, services or information. You can set up a survey to figure out exactly what most interests potential customers or learn about new trends of which your customers are aware.

Sell Your Products and Services Online
You are probably aware of online stores like Amazon.com or eBay.com. While these companies have huge infrastructures and massive marketing programs to drive their online business, it is possible to set up an online store for a small business in much the same way. There are already countless online stores thriving on the same type of transactions, but on a smaller scale. If you have a retail product that can be shipped via UPS or FedEx, you are a great candidate for an online store.

Attract New Business through Search Engines
Consumers use the Internet for a large amount of product research. If your website is listed on the top search engines, a curious consumer can find it under the results of any number of queries.

Contact Information
Always repeating your hours and product lines? A website can deliver details about your business to anyone with an Internet connection. This can help you focus on business instead of answering frequently asked questions.

Interact with Customers
The best clients are repeat and referred customers, and the best way to keep customers coming back is to keep in touch with them. A website will allow you to interact with clients online. When you keep in contact, you show customers you care.

Instant Validity
As a customer you want to that know the person you buy from is legitimate. A professional online presence helps legitimize your business in the eyes of a consumer and leads to increased sales.

Customers

In today’s business world, the Internet is the fastest growing source for information. Without a web presence, your business risks never being found by prospective customers.

Is your slow computer hurting your income flow?

It’s been a while since the era of the incredibly slow dial-up modems and excruciatingly buggy operating systems, yet stillthere are problems with slow computers. They are frustrating, time consuming and yeah, often you want to throw your computer out of a window.
US adults waste 4.1 days a year waiting for slow computers to catch up, that’s 16 minutes a day. That doesn’t seem like a lot, but our time is fleeting and precious. 50% of those surveyed stated they were aware they needed more exercise but felt they didn’t have the time to do it, and slow computers are part of the reason we are wasting our time.
37% of people said they felt more drained after waiting for their computer than they would have done if they had worked out. So, what can we do? Well, if you need or enjoy using your computer then you need to figure out why it’s slow and fix it – you can do this by cleaning and decluttering your software, and by installing better operating systems and browsers. If you’re not that bothered about being on your computer then simply do something else; go for a walk, read a book or do something else that you enjoy more than waiting for your dumb computer.

How the Right Computer Equipment can Streamline any Business

Are you the company that has 6 or 8 year old computer systems? They're still working, right? Yes, but are they slowing down production. Do you have your computer technician in more often then you did when they were only 1-2 years old. Odd are good, you are spending more each year to maintain these systems then you should be spending. New computers work better and faster, so production goes up and maintenance cost goes down. You do the math. Still think those 6 year old computers are fine?

Choosing the right combination of computer equipment is no longer considered a luxury purchase but rather a basic necessity for the daily operation and management of any financial business. Although individual preferences do come into play, other considerations should be taken into account, such as computer maintenance, user-friendly capabilities for your employees, and the possible interfacing of your system with other outside networks as well.

Consider first the type of operating system that will work best for your company before you spend tens of thousands of dollars on computer hardware. Future needs of computer repair are always something that should be considered, so making sure that you have a knowledgeable technician at the ready for these types of emergency issues may be a major contributing factor in determining which type of system you ultimately choose.
